Literature Text

A life is like the seasons of Earth,
Each cycle much the same.
Yet, through time, each life that lives
Possesses its own name.

Spring slowly blooms at the start;
New life begins anew.
So flourishes a little life
In little body new.

Sunny skies and frigid breezes
Give way to clouds and rain.
Youthful years give energy
That won't be matched again.

Brisk spring winds merge with the warm,
Tempests announce the summer.
Tantrums turn to arguments
Between child, father, mother.

With every fire and storm that passes,
All things will heal and grow.
With every sorrow that you suffer
Your faith and mind must grow.

The height of heat, all is alive,
All living things are restless.
Health has peaked and all your world
Is filled with activeness.

Yet, all the green and trees are aging,
Too soon must come the frost.
Too little time to live your life,
You may feel nothing but lost.

Any life left disappears
At the first big snow.
Though you can remain no longer,
With happiness you can go.

As long the cold may seem to be,
It cannot stay forever.
In no time at all, your soul
From this world will sever.

The perfect warm must come again,
This time so much greater.
All your life you've lived for this,
Your future so much brighter.

Paradise follows the dead of winter,
Infinitely better.
Summer here lasts, eternal,
With the great Creator.
I know it looks long, but it doesn't seem so long once you read it. I really want to tell you what the meaning of this is, like what I'm trying to express, but I feel that defeats the purpose. I'll let you try to figure it out by yourself.

P.S. It sounds better if read aloud. c=

P.S.S. As to why I'm writing poetry all of a sudden, i guess i just forgot how much i like it.
